خفَّفَ/ خفَّفَ عن/ خفَّفَ من يُخفِّف، تخفيفًا، فهو مخفِّف، والمفعول مخفَّف

: قلَّل منه، جعله خفيفًا

: محلول خُلط به سائل آخر لتقليل كثافته.

🇬🇧 Translation: : A solution mixed with another liquid to reduce its density (diluent).

: عالجه حتى شفاه الله من مرضه.

🇬🇧 Translation: : Treated him until Allah healed him from his illness.

: جعله رقيقًا.

🇬🇧 Translation: : Made it thin (the garment).

: هَوّنَه عليه وبسَّطه، أزال عنه مشقَّة، روَّح عنه

🇬🇧 Translation: : Eased it for his friend and simplified it, removed difficulty from him, comforted him

? خَفِّف عنك/ خَفِّف من حُزنك : هَوِّن عليك.

🇬🇧 Translation: Take it easy / ease your sorrow: lighten up on yourself.

: سكَّنه، ضدّ شدَّده.

🇬🇧 Translation: : Put sukun on it (made it unvoweled), opposite of geminating it (shaddah).
