A tribe in Yemen named after their grandfather, just as the land was named after him, then it became a state in eastern Yemen, in the 10th century BC, historically famous for its queen (Bilqis) and its great dam (Ma'rib Dam) whose collapse signaled the fading of the star of the Sabaean civilization (Saba/Sheba).
: تفرّقوا كما تفرّقت قبائل اليمن في البلاد عندما غرقت أرضهم وذهبت جنّاتهم.
