: ج أسْبُع وسِباع وسُبُوع وسُبوعة : كل ما له نابٌ كالأسد والنمر والذِّئب، أو ما له مخْلَب كالصقر والحدأة، ويعدو على الناس والدوابّ ويفترسها، المفترس من الحيوان، الأنثى سَبْعة وسبُعة
🇬🇧 Translation: : Plural: asbu', siba', subu', and subu'ah : every animal that has fangs like a lion, leopard, and wolf, or what has talons like a falcon and kite, and attacks people and animals and preys on them, predatory animal, the female is called sab'ah and subu'ah (Beast of prey/Predator).
: أخذه بشدّة.
🇬🇧 Translation: : Taking it forcefully (To seize forcefully/Pounce).
