سامِريّ

: أحد بني إسرائيل من قبيلة السّامرة، رحل إلى مصر بعد إقامة بني إسرائيل فيها، فلمّا صعَد موسى الجبلَ أخذ يُؤَلِّبُهُم ضِدّ الإيمان حتى أخذ حُليَّهُم وصنع العجلَ وعبده ودعا قومه إلى عبادته في غياب موسى عليه السلام

🇬🇧 Translation: : One of the Children of Israel from the Samaritan tribe, who traveled to Egypt after the Children of Israel resided there. When Moses went up the mountain, he began inciting them against faith until he took their jewelry and made the calf and worshipped it and called his people to worship it in the absence of Moses, peace be upon him (The Samaritan).
