: ج أَرْمِدة : (كم) ما تخلَّف من احتراق المواد، بقايا غير عضويّة تتخلَّف بعد إحراق الموادّ القابلة للاحتراق مثل الخشب

: Plural: armidah : (Chemistry) What is left from burning materials, inorganic residues left after burning combustible materials like wood (Ash/Ashes).
: تُضيِّع وقتَك فيما لا فائدة فيه - ذرَّ الرَّمادَ في العيون : ضلّل، موّه الأمورَ - رماد العظام : رماد فوسفات الكالسيوم الأبيض الموجود في العظام المحروقة، وهو يستخدم كسماد وفي صنع الخزفيّات - نارٌ تحت الرَّماد : أحقاد دفينة سوف تنفجر فجأة - هو كثير الرَّماد : كريم.
🇬🇧 Translation:
: You waste your time on useless things - To throw dust in the eyes: to mislead, obscure matters - Bone ash: white calcium phosphate ash found in burnt bones, used as fertilizer and in making ceramics - Fire under the ashes: hidden grudges that will suddenly erupt - He has many ashes: generous (Ash).
