حمُقَ يَحمُق، حُمْقًا وحَماقةً، فهو أَحمقُ

قَلّ عقلُه، فسَد عقلُه

🇬🇧 Translation: His reason diminished, his mind became corrupt

: قيل ذلك لأنها تحتضن بيض غيرها، وتُضيِّع مبيض نفسها.

🇬🇧 Translation: : This was said because it broods over others' eggs while neglecting its own.

غضب وتصرَّف تصرُّفَ الطّائش

🇬🇧 Translation: Became angry and acted recklessly

: صاروا إلى التّهديد والوعيد والشّتائم والسِّباب.

🇬🇧 Translation: : They resorted to threats, intimidation, insults, and cursing.
